Welcome to the Thunderstrike Forums!

Welcome, adventurers, to the official Holyfrey Community's Thunderstrike server forums — your home for everything related to World of Warcraft: 20th Anniversary – The Burning Crusade Classic.

This forum is a place for players to gather, share knowledge, tell stories, ask questions, and discuss everything from raids, dungeons, PvP and professions, to addons, class builds, lore, and community events. Whether you’re a veteran who first stepped through the Dark Portal years ago, or a new hero experiencing Outland for the first time — you belong here.

The 20th Anniversary TBC Classic brings back one of the most legendary eras in World of Warcraft history. Flying mounts, heroic dungeons, iconic raids like Karazhan, Serpentshrine Cavern and Black Temple — all wrapped in the spirit of classic gameplay, teamwork, and community that made WoW unforgettable.

Thunderstrike is more than just a server.
It’s a community built on respect, cooperation, and a shared love for World of Warcraft.

Here you are encouraged to:

• Create discussions and share ideas
• Ask for help or offer guidance
• Post raid strategies, class tips and theorycrafting
• Share screenshots, achievements and memories
• Suggest improvements and participate in server development
• Meet new friends and strengthen the community

Everyone should feel welcome here — whether you play casually, hardcore, PvE, PvP, or somewhere in between.

So grab your gear, sharpen your blades, prepare your spells — and step once more into Outland.

Why we use a website forum instead of Discord

While Discord is useful for quick chat and voice communication, it is not designed to function as a long-term community platform.

Over time, Discord has become increasingly bloated with features that most players never use, while still lacking many of the fundamentals needed for proper community management.

Some of the major issues with Discord include:

• Conversations disappear quickly and become impossible to find later
• Important guides, announcements and solutions get buried in chat history
• No proper structure for long discussions or archived knowledge
• Extremely limited backup options — server data can be lost permanently
• Requires a separate application and account to access content
• Poor accessibility for users browsing from web search engines
• Information is locked behind logins and invite links

In short: Discord is temporary. Forums are permanent.

Why a website forum is better

A traditional forum offers things Discord simply cannot:

• Open and searchable information
• Structured topics and clear categories
• Easy long-term backups and data preservation
• Accessibility without installing extra applications
• Posts that can be shared, linked, and indexed by search engines
• Real discussion instead of fast-scrolling chat noise
• A permanent knowledge base for current and future players

On a forum, information does not vanish after a few hours.
Guides written today can still help players years from now.

That is how strong MMO communities were built — and how they last.

Thunderstrike’s forum is meant to be:

• A library of knowledge
• A place for meaningful discussion
• A stable archive for the server’s history
• A welcoming home for all players

Whether you are a veteran from original Burning Crusade or a new adventurer discovering Outland for the first time — your voice matters here.

So take part in discussions, share your experience, help others, and help shape the future of Thunderstrike.

Welcome home.
Welcome to Thunderstrike.
